![]() Diversified Association Management is delighted to announce our participation in the 2018 Hunger Games benefiting Care and Share Food Bank. The Hunger Games is a friendly competition among local HOA management companies to raise dollars, collect food and help spread the word about the unseen hunger and poverty issues that exist in Southern Colorado. With a mission to fight hunger and food insecurity, Care and Share helps provide millions of pounds of food to under-privileged families throughout 31 Southern Colorado counties. It's a fun, meaningful way to get involved! Summer is an especially important time as kids are out of school and the holiday donating season has ended. More than 22 million children currently receive free or reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs, yet many of those children, 4 out of every 5, will lose access to those meals as public schools close for the summer months. Summer Food drives are the first step to making sure kids have enough to eat during the summer months. Diversified kicked-off the three-week long competition on May 1st. Through our grassroots involvement, our goal was to raise $1,000 which equates to 8,000 meals! After three weeks we are delighted to announce we have raised $1,673 and 158lbs of food, equaling an astounding 13,516 meals. Altogether we were able to collect enough food and dollars to provide 15,083 meals to families in Southern Colorado. A big thank you to all the HOA Management companies who contributed! We hope that our participation will inspire a spirit of giving, and help us remain mindful of how these shared goals make a difference in the community. Thanks for Reading! Casey Martin
