2017 brought a lot of great accomplishments to Diversified Association Management. As we diligently work to provide exceptional service for our clients we are always striving to become better, smarter, and faster. Whether it’s single family, townhomes, or condos we are always looking for better ways of doing things. This year we implemented an online invoice approval system with Strong Room. The Board can now see and approve every invoice online in the convenience of their own home. We also added U-Manage, a complete cloud-based GPS-enabled property management solution that helps property managers handle all association-related activities. The mobile component is designed to provide managers with all the tools they need while on property to make their job more efficient providing information that is right at their fingertips.
For our internal staff we have added a new software program called Zenefits. Zenefits is a cloud-based platform which manages multiple HR services such as health insurance, payroll, compliance, paid time off, benefits, employee onboarding, stock option management, and more. Continuing education is a big part of community management. This year Lindsay Zeilstra completed her PCAM designation. The PCAM designation is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management. Amanda Funck completed her AMS designation. The AMS designation demonstrates a higher level of commitment to the community association industry, it’s the second level in the career development track for community association management. Tabitha Barile obtained her CMCA designation and has become a great Community Manager. Melissa Hammer has been hired as our CSA (Community Services Associate), and Casey Martin as our Office Manager / Business Development Coordinator. At Diversified, our mantra of Creating a Sense of Community often inspires us to look into the evolving needs of our community. This year we participated in several team building activities which included, donating Build a Bears to the children’s hospital, Gries Family Charity, and Care and Share Food Bank. We also participated in our Board Member Appreciation Night with our vendor expo, target shooting, and Painting with a Twist. As we reflect on all the great things that happened in 2017, we never stop looking forward. We have already started planning for 2018! Thanks for Reading!

Our mission to Create a Sense of Community often inspires us to look into the evolving needs of our community. Diversified Association Management continues to have an enduring relationship with Care and Share Food Bank, a southern Colorado Food Bank helping provide meals to underprivileged families. When your organization distributes 19.1 million meals every year, volunteers are an important resource. Care and Share has welcomed us over the past three years, and we are thrilled to support them. Our annual staff volunteer day at Community Food Share is this Thursday December 14th from 2- 4 PM. We are looking forward to being part of the more than 7,000 volunteers who provide millions of pounds of food throughout 31 Southern Colorado counties annually. We hope that our participation will inspire a spirit of giving, and help us remain mindful of how these shared goals Create a Sense of Community. |
