It’s here! It’s here! It’s finally here! Springtime in Colorado Springs is one of my
favorite times of the year. While our temperatures are finally on the rise and we are able to get out and start implementing our landscaping projects for the summer, it is best to check with your HOA Manager at Diversified Association Management to see if your summer “to-do” list requires Architectural or Landscape Committee approval. Also, along with our beautiful summers comes our rainy season. Weeds just love this time of year! The combination of warmer temperatures and afternoon rains is an amazing recipe for weeds. One of the advantages of living in an HOA Managed by Diversified Association Management is that you have someone performing site visits and sending notices to those that do not maintain their lots. While it is not the most pleasant aspect of our jobs, we recognize that residents that live in an HOA would prefer to not look at yards full of weeds that are not being maintained. After all, that is one of the biggest reasons buyers purchase their home in an HOA. Spraying weeds is always better than pulling them. The weed spray, being left to work its magic for at least 10 days, gets to the root of the weed, ensuring, most often, that the weed will not return again during the growing season. Spray weeds as soon as they become noticeable to you. Don’t forget to make time to enjoy all of the beautiful activities that Colorado has to offer!
