As the end of the year approaches, it’s time to reflect on what has transpired over the past year and what we want to consider looking forward!
Looking back on this past year and thinking about what means the most to me and the work we do at Diversified, I find myself thinking about the people. Our staff, our clients, our business partners, and our community are by far the richest part of coming to work each day. I know the reason for our success is believing in a culture that fosters mutual trust; open, honest, and candid communication; effective teamwork; and an unrestrained sense of enthusiasm, commitment, and FUN! 2019 was a great year for being recognized. We were excited and honored to accept the 1st place award for Best in Business by the Colorado Springs Business Journal. Thank you to everyone who supports and believes in us, and took the time to vote! Our most humbling recognition came from our staff. We were voted Best Workplace and were featured in the Colorado Springs Gazette. Steve and I are so proud of our business, and especially our employees, without them we would not have the success that we do. They truly care about the communities that we manage. Giving back to the community is also important to Diversified. This year we supported Care and Share Food Bank, Trails and Open Space Coalition and the Humane Society. We also focused on higher education for our managers, with many of them earning additional credentials to better serve your communities! HOA community management can be difficult, our team is hired to lead the communities we manage with transparency and grace, constantly explaining to homeowners the guidelines of the community and the fiduciary responsibilities of the board of directors. The manager does not have any decision-making authority, but they put their heart into helping the board of directors succeed in creating a sense of community and keeping property values up. As we move on to another year, we will be upgrading our software system to better serve you. This is a massive undertaking, and our staff has been working diligently to ensure the transition goes as smooth as possible. We are looking forward to providing more efficiencies and continued success in 2020! Wishing you the joy of family, the gift of friends and the best of everything for the new year. Tracy Martin - CMCA® Principal
